Deja Vu all over again

I swear this story pops up every few years. .. so i don't know how interesting it is, But "Christian Archaeology Team Believes It's Found Biblical Remains"

Essentially the article says they've found a petrified object about the size of an aircraft carrier --

The Bible also describes the Ark's dimensions as being 300 cubits by 50 cubits -- about the size of a small aircraft carrier. The B.A.S.E. Institute's discovery is similar in size and scale.

What do you think ?

drinking with Jesus

Joe Thorn (link from Steve McCoy) has an article titled Drinking with Jesus. The article is in responce to the Southern Baptist Councel's Resent Resolution on Alchohol . While i do feel that Joe's last scripture reference may be interperated without context, i think that his general gist is right on. I especially liked the comparason of John the Baptist and Jesus with regard to their Abstination from alcohol (or lack of).

it's a good read, check it out

another test post

Testing my post to make sure bloglines is picking it up

check out nicole's blog for a couple pics of the kids

holy matrimony and my feet

I'll work this one backwards---

Let me start my criticizing the person who developed the sole for rented shoes from the tuxedo places, i mean.. seriously, why didnt you forsee my needs to hike all around kensington on saturday--- a little forethought could have prevented the pain that radiates from my knees downward.

Now for the happy note--- my Brother finally got Hitched. He and his bride, Laura, are currently spending the week sipping exotic drinks and baking in the hot mexican sun. The ceremony was held at Kensington Metropark, and was an all day affair for my whole family(me-best man, Nicole-bridesmaid,Matt-Ring Bearer, Kayla-Flower Girl).

I will try and get some pictures posted soon, unfortunately I am still trying to recover from saturday and have not had a chance to pull any video or stills from my cameras.

Also, i havent seen any of the professional photographs, but i was impressed with the way Abby and Todd worked together, so i am definetly looking forward to them, here's a plug for her http://www.afauncephotography.com/

Net Neutrality

/start soapbox

Def: A theory pertaining to networks around the globe indicating that the switching system remains neutral as to allow free flowing of information from anyone to anyone..

I would say that most people will not even have this on their radar, but as a technogeeky guy i have been watching all of the commentary surrounding the future changes that could affect the way i surf the internet. Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, has put out a letter that sums it up best, I think that you should take the 5 second out of your life to help information stay free (fill out the form letter to send to your congressmen)..... while not specifically outlined in it, i think the principals of the constitution are in play here, and it is defintly something you should pay attention to
