Web 2.0
CMS has a great post on WEB 2.0 It is definetly awesome to see the possibilities of this new mindset--- and it is just that, the technology for these noted things have existed for years, it just took a new approach to make a truely interactive web expierience.
It is important for the church to dive into this as a new mission field, because as much as we see the ministry potential of blogs, and other web 2.0 components-- there will always be those who see the flip side of the coin. This means a new avenue for child predators or another way for kids hide things from their parent (read: myspace.com) .
As a side note, i think it is sad to see what high schoolers are doing behind closed doors and allowing the world to see through the internet--- even more sad may be that their parents have NO idea.
