Creationism/Intelligent Design and Darwinism

One of my favorite comic strips for the past few years has been 'dilbert'. The witty, office-space like humor is always a good break in the middle of the day. When I found out that Dilbert's writer (Scott Adams) started blogging, I promptly added him to my bloglines and have been enjoying his comments almost daily.

Over the weekend (Nov. 12th to be specific) He posted an interesting commentary on the debate of Intelligent design VS Darwinism. You should Check it out, also be sure to read the comments to it, as they bring out the passion about it.

Quite honestly, I've grown tired of arguing about the topic. It seems to me that as a Christian, my focus should not be on arguing someone into believing something different than what they believe... that's simply not how Jesus did things.

For those of you that know me, know that I'm a fairly argumentative person. This is something I know I need to work on, but is still very present in my persona today. Just last night I caught myself 'correcting' my wife repeatedly (like 6-8 times in 10 minutes), it's not as if she was particularity wrong about anything, I just have the ingrained need to have the last word.

So as it stands, I pretty much fall to the old bumper sticker 'God said it, I believe it', but I know that is not enough for most people. I think the only way that those who are seeking will truly see who God is, must experience the LOVE of Jesus Christ---not through an argument.

I've found that sometimes, even if you win the argument--- you still end up losing
